2016 Skills in the States Forum

On October 17-18 2016, National Skills Coalition hosted Skills in the States: A Cross-State Forum for Policy, Advocacy, and Impact, in Detroit, Michigan.

The Forum brought together workforce advocates, researchers, and practitioners who want to shape their state’s skills policies. The Forum featured a mix of peer-to-peer discussions and plenaries on how states can expand opportunities for people to enhance their skills, credentials, and careers, and ultimately, their families’ financial well-being.
