About me: I’m 33 years old, a mother of 4 and I currently attend Pima Community College. This will be my third year attending Pima Community College in pursuit of my bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, which started as me just wanting to get my GED. I decided while achieving my GED to pursue my certifications in electrical training and before I knew it one year became two. I will be graduating this May with an AAS in electrical.
I am a first-generation college student. I am also a school leader at Pima Community College this year. I represent the online campuses and I hold the position of co-chair on the Aztec Student Senate. This is my second term and I know that I have learned the leadership and advocating skills I need to better represent the student body and my community. I believe education is key and is powerful beyond measure.
