Simone (pronounced: si-MOH-nee) Gonçalves Perszyk is the Chief Operating Officer at National Skills Coalition, where she leads the organization’s operational strategy and infrastructure. In this role, Simone oversees human resources, financial management, and overall operations in support of NSC’s mission to advance policy, build networks, and reshape the national conversation around skills training.
Simone brings 15 years of experience in operational leadership, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness across the social sector. Prior to joining NSC, she served on the leadership team at Arabella Advisors, where she led operational excellence, finance, and resource management for Arabella’s global partnerships division. Earlier in her career, Simone managed international capacity-building programs at the DeVos Institute of Arts and Nonprofit Management and held fundraising roles at the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.
Simone holds a Certificate in Financial Planning & Analysis from Wharton Online, an M.A. in Arts Management from American University, and dual master’s degrees in Piano Performance and Piano Accompanying from the University of Akron. A native Portuguese speaker and dual U.S.–Brazilian citizen, she lives in the Washington, D.C. metro area with her husband and daughter and is committed to advancing equity, impact, and collaboration across the social sector.
