Alicia spent 16 years teaching in Baltimore, MD, before deciding that she was ready for a career change. She entered the training and apprenticeship program at Catalyte, a software development firm, and is finding growth and collaborative opportunities in an industry lightyears away from her degree in biology. She hopes one day her two worlds will collide and she’ll be able to teach and mentor a younger generation of software developers.
