Georgia voters understand that jobs requiring skills training are the backbone of the economy.
69% of Georgia voters would take advantage of opportunities to engage in skills training if offered and an even larger share (95%) agree that access to skills training is a key characteristic of a good job.

“While the majority of voters want more opportunities for skills training, too many workers in Georgia still face significant barriers to accessing these opportunities,” said Ray Khalfani, Senior Analyst for Worker Justice and Criminal Legal Systems at the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute. “We need solutions to ensure that all workers in our state have the chance to upskill, secure good jobs, and thrive—not just a select few. Despite overwhelming support from voters, justice-impacted individuals continue to be locked out of these programs.”
