Michael is a construction worker at Holden Construction – nationwide to build commercial buildings, data centers, stadiums, and more. A four-year college degree isn’t necessary to pursue the type of work Michael wanted to do. He revels in the way he has been able to achieve technical skills through on the job training.
“If we can change that culture mindset that’s there in the high schools and find some way to teach people that you don’t have to go to college to have a great job, to have a career, there’s other ways to do that, it would be very helpful”.
