A New Promise of Work is a national initiative from National Skills Coalition that brings together workers, students, businesses, and policymakers to advance a bold new workforce vision — one where everyone has a fair shot at real economic opportunity. The initiative calls for workforce development to be treated not as a "second-choice" system, but as a first-choice investment in people and the economy, and will develop a forward-looking national workforce policy agenda to be released in 2027.

In our newest A New Promise of Work interview, Advisory Council member Jacob Hannah shares why rebuilding trust, dignity, and economic opportunity starts with listening to the people closest to the challenges — and the solutions.
