Mistie Palmer is the Director of Workforce Development for AdventHealth, where she leads enterprise-wide workforce strategies to build sustainable health care talent pipelines. With over 20 years of experience spanning clinical practice, hospital operations, and workforce strategy, she brings a unique dual perspective as both a health care operator and workforce professional.
Mistie began her career as a medical laboratory scientist and is licensed by the State of Florida as a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor and nationally certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP). She has since pioneered accelerated training models and public–private partnerships that expand opportunity, strengthen communities, and address critical workforce shortages.
In addition to her professional work, Mistie has dedicated more than 15 years to mentoring youth.
