As a former Research and Policy Analyst at National Skills Coalition, Roderick Taylor contributed to NSC’s research, policy analysis and development, and technical assistance work that helps advance NSC’s skills platform of workforce, postsecondary, and human services policies that support workers in equitably participating in and benefiting from economic expansion and restructuring. Roderick prioritized advancing equity, racial justice, and equal opportunity in his work.
Prior to joining National Skills Coalition, Roderick was a Research Analyst at the Justice Policy Center at the Urban Institute, where his work focused on a variety of topics related to criminal justice reform, including human trafficking, clemency, and intimate partner violence. He was also a Research Assistant at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, where he analyzed and examined how tax, fiscal, and economic policy proposals impacted low-income communities and communities of color.
Roderick holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from The University of Texas at Austin. He is based in Washington, D.C.
