Seanniece Bamiro

State Network Manager

Seanniece (pronounced: Sean-Niece) Bamiro manages a network of state coalitions working to advance workforce policies that support an inclusive economy. She works across teams to provide state networks with technical assistance around policy development, advocacy, and communications. Seanniece joined NSC in October 2024 and is a native Washingtonian based in the D.C.-Maryland-Viriginia area.

Prior to joining NSC, Seanniece served as State and Local Policy Manager at Prosperity Now, a national non-profit organization shaping an inclusive economy through state networks, policy, and programming. In this role, she co-led the economic data dashboard, The Scorecard, which assessed economic justice policies from 50 states and D.C., as well as advanced economic equity legislation in collaboration with advocates and state legislators, and provided policy technical assistance to the various state networks throughout the nation.

Seanniece holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park.
