Workforce funding win in MA.

August 16, 2012

On August 7, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick signed into law the Economic Development and Job Bill (HB 4532), which included a hard-won $5 million appropriation for the Workforce Competitiveness Fund (WCTF),  a sector-based training fund originally created in 2006. The bill also establishes a Middle-Skill Subcommittee of its Advisory Council.
