Our new logo represents what makes National Skills Coalition unique and powerful: Our networks. It is a celebration of the impact our coalition has made over the last two decades with the support of thousands of workforce advocates. Together we have been able to change policies that change lives.
It's About You, Our Networks
Our networks shape NSC’s policy agenda and move them across the finish line: our national network of tens of thousands of practitioner advocates shaping federal policy, our network of 20 SkillSPAN state policy coalitions, our Business Leaders United network of employers and state BLU affiliates, and our Voices for Skills network of 50,000 workers and grassroots advocates.
Making Connections
The font, Interstate, is based on signage alphabets for the United States Federal Highway Administration. We think it speaks to, and is evocative of, the national workforce we’re committed to.
The typography supports messaging and calls to action with its strong and confident style.
The multi-color logomark coveys the strength in our networks. The colors illustrate strength and action (red), optimism and positive change (yellow), empathy (light blue), trust, security and stability (dark blue). All of these elements represent the multiple stakeholders we bring to the table and symbolizes the spirit of an organization that is passionate about advocating for the skills of America’s workers and businesses.
