This workshop, facilitated by Melissa Johnson and two experienced SkillSPAN coalition leads in Illinois and Ohio, will feature specific stories about advocating for systems change. Attendees will hear about the successes and challenges of coalition work from these leaders, reflect on the assets they can bring to coalition-based systems change work, and connect with like-minded colleagues in the same region. All participants will leave with actionable ideas to engage in bold state policy change.
