The Pew Charitable Trusts and the National Skills Coalition will host a small, closed-door learning event in Washington, DC, on Friday, May 1st. The purpose of this event is to identify areas of concern and potential policy solutions that strengthen protections for students pursuing non-degree credentials, while centering their needs, goals, and the return on their investments in workforce education. Our goal is to bring together experts, practitioners, researchers, and students who encounter the issue from varying perspectives to learn more about the current landscape of consumer protections for non-degree credentials and inform our potential future.
