Session: Federal Policy Updates from The Hill
This session is intended to provide a broad overview of the federal policy landscape as it relates to workforce development and appropriations policies impacting workforce development boards (WDBs) and the wider community.
The conversation will focus on three primary issues including the ongoing FY24/25 budget and appropriations process, WIOA reauthorization, and the potential for other workforce legislation this Congress such as short-term Pell reform and/or National Apprenticeship Act (NAA) reauthorization.
