Washington, D.C. — National Skills Coalition (NSC) is proud to announce the launch of a new brand identity, logo, and website.
The new logo represents what makes NSC unique: Our networks. NSC has a national network of tens of thousands of workforce advocates who help shape federal policy. We partner with 20 states to develop workforce solutions at the state level. We organize and support thousands of small- and medium-sized businesses, including hosting an annual DC fly-in for business leaders to meet with members of Congress. And we elevate worker stories from our network of 50,000 workers to educate policymakers about the importance of skills training.
The multi-color logo symbolizes the strength of our networks and the spirit of our organization. The red signifies strength and action. Yellow represents optimism and positive change. The light blue stands for empathy. And dark blue signifies trust, security, and stability.
The new website is more engaging and easier to use. The pages are cleaner and clearer. Our issue areas are easier to find and follow. Policy experts now have their areas of expertise listed to make it easier to engage the right person on a particular topic. The new site also features a new blog page for policy analysis, expert commentary, and latest news from our networks.
“Twenty years ago, a group of local leaders from business, labor, community colleges, community organizations, and workforce boards came together to form a new, national, skills coalition,” said Andy Van Kleunen, CEO of National Skills Coalition. “A coalition that isn’t based on politics or ideology but on the expertise of workforce practitioners. The new brand is a reflection of our commitment to tackle the enormous workforce challenges our country faces now and in the years to come.”
