The Minnesota Skills Mismatch

Jobs that require education and training that fall between a high school diploma and a four-year degree are the backbone of the American economy, and they depend on a skilled workforce to fill them.

In Minnesota, a plurality of jobs (49%) require skills training beyond a high school, but not a four-year degree. But too few of Minnesota’s workers — just 45% — have had access to the skills training necessary to fill these in-demand careers.
