National Skills Coalition developed the “Skills to Recover” forum series to convene our broad field of skills advocates, separated by vocation or issue, in order to address specific policy concerns in real time and hear about the field’s innovative responses to the national crisis. This format offers vital two-way information sharing, allowing the coalition insider information about Capitol Hill and offering NSC staff the stories and feedback from the ground to bring back to Congress.
The forums are also an opportunity to convene with our national partners and come together around the shared concerns of our members. To date, NSC has hosted 5 forums for the coalition and partnered with 8 national partners to deliver Congressional updates and solicit feedback since June.
Want updates on future forums? Or do you have questions, comments, or suggestions on the forum series? Please contact NSC’s National Network Manager Jessica Cardott (jessicac@nationalskillscoalition.org).
