The initiative, led by National Skills Coalition, calls for workforce development to be treated not as a "second-choice" system, but as a first-choice investment in people and the economy, The council, a 34-member, cross-sector group of influential leaders will help guide the initiative’s strategic direction and aid in developing a forward-looking national workforce policy agenda to be released in 2027.
