Workforce Pell and Quality Credentials

Our nation’s higher education policies were developed over fifty years ago and no longer fit the needs of today’s students or the rapidly changing skill needs of today’s labor market. With the passage of Workforce Pell, we’ve taken a historic step toward changing that. For the first time, students will be able to use Pell Grants for high-quality, short-term training programs that lead to in-demand careers. It’s a major win for working people, local businesses, and our economy.
