National Skills Coalition was mentioned by Forbes in an article about the future of the workplace due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Digitalization is causing businesses to grow faster which calls for a need in digital skills training for workers. Forbes cites a 2020 NSC report that highlights that one in three workers lacked foundational digital skills to do their jobs, which brings to light two major goals – opening more broadband availability to Americans and increasing opportunities for remote learning.
