Data Tools for Workforce Policy: Lessons from the State Workforce and Education Alignment Project

By Bryan Wilson, March 03, 2017

National Skills Coalition’s SWEAP initiative has assisted California, Mississippi, Ohio, and Rhode Island develop data tools that policy leaders can use to better align workforce and education programs with employer skill needs.  During the webinar, representatives from the four states will share what they have developed and learned through SWEAP.  They will present Dashboards that report education and employment outcomes across programs, Supply and Demand Reports that identify fields of study with skill gaps, and Pathway Evaluators that show how people can use a range of education and training programs to earn credentials and move into jobs.
