A People-Centered Infrastructure Plan
For years, our crumbling infrastructure has been in desperate need of modernization and the millions of trained, skilled workers needed to do it. More recently, the pandemic has caused massive job loss, putting millions out of work. A job creation plan for infrastructure could be the answer to fixing our infrastructure and fueling our economic recovery.
But infrastructure job creation alone won’t work without infrastructure job training.
It’s time for a big, bold, generation-defining investment in infrastructure job creation that includes billions for skills training and job supports that rebuilds our crumbling infrastructure while connecting unemployed workers to training, well-paying job opportunities, and long-term career pathways that set our country on the path towards an inclusive economic recovery.
